Many of you have been on the receiving end of the Hate Campaign’s extreme malice in the past, and we’ve seen enough of their atrocious behaviour since starting this blog (in October last year, Kay!) so we know they’re totally incapable of being upfront and honest, nor will they take responsibility for anything unless it’s in their interests to do so.
We’re updating this entry first and foremost to apologise to the person we criticised for writing the comment in the screenshot below:
We’re apologising because we have discovered that the person who made that comment posted it on someone’s private Facebook wall.
In other words she made the comment openly; it was not posted to a page or a group nor intended to be taken seriously. On top of that, her comment was posted before Mel Page claims it turned up on a ‘secret group‘, a fact Page is fully aware of, which won’t surprise anyone.
The ‘mass reporting‘ being referred to was directed solely at HC members Diane End BSL Percival and Debbie Gathercole, a backlash following their double-act trolling sessions. The rest of the thread clearly shows its directed at Gathercole and Percival, something Page and Company do not want you to see. And yes, we have been sent screenshots of the whole thread, along with email notifications and we’ll be happy to include them here.
So when Mel Page claimed the screenshot they had just ‘been sent‘ was taken from a ‘secret group‘, she was lying, again.
The group Page is trying to pin that on was created last Monday (24 June) as an open group, and deactivated the following day. It was an unaffiliated group created purely for debate purposes. The admin had posted links to this blog and The Lav and clearly stated anyone was welcome to join and voice their opinion, whoever they supported. As you can probably guess, Percival and Gathercole were at the front of the queue.
So that group has nothing whatsoever to do with anything really, contrary to what Page would have you believe. But that didn’t stop her trying it on, again:
When will she ever learn. If she must lie through her teeth, you’d think she’d learn to cover her tracks. Heaven knows she’s had enough practice.
But the point of this Update is to show that once again Page’s attempts at damage limitation have taken her down to shabby and contemptible levels.
We should have guessed that Page and Company were up to something, but at the time we were shocked that anyone could suggest reporting the deed not breed page, so we thought maybe, just this once, they were genuine, and we were willing to give that a shot.
Page and Company knew exactly where that screenshot came from. At first we thought one of their lapdogs, Percival or Gathercole, had provided them with it, but as it turns out they didn’t have to, because the comment was posted to someone else’s domestic and open Facebook wall. That means Page knew exactly what the comments referred to, so she knew it had nothing to do with Deed not breed.
Page’s transcribed comment below. It’s difficult to look at the rank hypocrisy in her statement without responding, but we’ll leave that for picking over in the next blog entry:
“We have been sent this screenshot from a ‘secret’ group where a link to the website that has been causing so much trouble has been posted (this link is also being sent via private message). They are, as you can see making plans to either mass report this page or make up ‘fake’ cases for us. First of all, you clearly have no idea how we work. We would contact the police regarding ANY dog we deal with so would soon find out if a case/dog was fake. How immature, stupid and potentially dangerous your behaviour is. If you ‘mass report’ this page, we will continue our work as we have for years before we joined facebook. What you WILL do is potentially cause the deaths of dogs who’s owners come to us for help via facebook. I am disgusted. We both are. This is exactly the sort of crap we’ve been dealing with for months now.”
